The fist meeting of project biga(Bgwe Gumbuludzo) 21/07/2008


The Purpose of the Meeting is as follows:

1. Set out the structure and date for the unveiling
2. Discus the modalities and solicit ideas on how best to make this
event memorable and successful.
3. Work out budget

4. Formation of work committees (Choosing a project Coordinator is very important)

* The agenda was adopted as it is

* opening remarks by chairman

*The chairman official opened the meeting.
*He pointed out what we have achieved since our father passed away.He also indicated that we faced some challenges but advised that we should not dwell on negative things.
He emphasized on dignity ( Botho ) and respect as the core
values of the family.
*He encouraged family members to improve communication by giving
feedback.
*He also warned gossipers as per the theory in hand.
*We encouraged each other that after the meeting we should show
what we doing.



1. Set out the structure and date for the unveiling

* The unveiling date will be 20th July 2009 (The Monday of the president
holidays)

* It was also agreed that by April 30th 2009 installation of the
tombstone should have been finalized



2. Discus the modalities and solicit ideas on how best to make this
event memorable and successful.



* High cooperation was encouraged.

* Following ideas were suggested

* Children and grand children could invite their religious and social clubs
* An all-night event from Sunday 19 evening to Monday 20th.
* Family tree in the thumb stone up to the children
* Hosana invitation as part of the old man life activities
* Invitation of a life band e g ( Isaac Maleye or Ndingo Jowa )
* We were given a home work to find more activities to make the event memorable.



3. Work out budget (To set a date for the feedback of the cost from the finaice committee)

>A budget was worked out based on the quotations from Kagiso Funeral parlour.
The Quality tombstones ranger from 9000- 12000 up to 15000 when we add
lettering for the family tree at two pula per letter.

> Extra costs were estimated to 10000 which brings the total budget to
25000

> It was agreed that all the children should contribute a minimum of
2000 (11 children)

> The two schooling Children ( Takula and Nabulane ) were excluded from the contribution.

> Bakakopano also was excluded from the contributions

> All the grandchildren were advised to contribute what ever they have
to show love and appreciation to their grand father.

> The near correct budget is expected very soon after each committee has made its input.

4. Formation of work committees (Choosing a project coordinator is very important)



* before choosing working committees the chairman warned us that we should not use popularity on choosing committees more specially the finance team

* he showed displeasure about finance teams that never account for the moneys.

* It was emphasized that money should be account to the last thebe.

* We all agreed that the finance team should be headed by an
individual with financial intelligence and accounting skills. An honest person who is not very clever but intelligent. An individual who is submissive to the family authority, rules and regulation

* All the other committee heads were selected based on quality and hard work.

* The supervisory committee was not selected but appointed
according to the legitimacy powers and rights they have in the family

* The project coordinate was also been appointed due to the
acceptance by the gathering that he is legitimate leader of the Lenyatso family( he sites in every committee )

Theo" s Tombstone

It was agreed that on the same day Mr and Mrs Nicholas Lenyatso will
also unveil their son tombstone but they will have their own budget for
the stone. And whatever their contributions towards food and other
things will be accepted. (The Theo' stone won't have a significant
adjustment to the budget) But all the events and logics will be held at the Old man's place

It was also agreed and accepted that the old Lady"s stone will be
unveiled in the same day. But the four children have been given a home
work to do the budgeting of the stone. We also agreed that they have to contribute towards food and other stuff as they can be a significant adjustment to the original budget. It was also agreed and accepted that all the players in the Old lady's tombstone will play the same role as if it was only the father's tombstone

All in all they will be no significant adjustment in program to cater
for the above stones. We are going to use the same teams (Except in the finance of the stones only).

The Mmani consultations meeting will be September 30



The next meeting is December 21 2008 at Lenyatso's place

On closing the chairman warned the gossipers to put on hold and who everwill find him/herself destroying others and dragging the family name in the mud will be dealt with accordingly. But he says he was very happy about the meeting
